Two Arrested for DWI in Cranford

Cranford Police have been making an increasing amount of motor vehicle stops throughout the year, which has led to an increased amount of DWI arrests in 2014. The weekends consistently have the highest probability for DWI arrests because people are out on the town blowing off steam and cops are in full force.

North Plainfield Disorderly Conduct Arrest

This past weekend North Plainfield Police arrested a male teenager who was so intoxicated that he needed to be rescued by police and firefighters who took him down from a residential roof around 4 a.m. in the morning. After being rescued from the roof, the teenager was charged with trespassing and a disorderly persons offense for all the trouble he caused. This past week, a brother and sister were charged and arrested for disorderly conduct and the brother was charged additionally with a third degree resisting arrest. The arrests came in connection of a police investigation of a fight in the roadway on the 600 block of Sherman Avenue.
