The Union County Superior Court is located at 2 Broad Street, Elizabeth, New Jersey. The Superior Court is actually separated into two separate buildings which are referred to as the Old Annex or “Tower” and the New Annex. The majority of the criminal judges are in the New Annex with the exception of two. The Assignment Judge is The Honorable Karen M. Cassidy, J.S.C. and she oversees the entire vicinage including the criminal division and handles limited judicial proceedings, for example, a motion to be removed from Megan’s Law.
